Outdoor tent
Cloth tents have the functions of wind, rain, snow, cold, dust and mosquito protection. They provide you with an independent and safe personal space in the field environment. Tents are mainly composed of four parts: inside and outside tents, brackets, tent bottom, packaging and accessories. In addition, the design and support methods of tents are also important technical indicators.
1. internal and external accounts
The outer tent is the protective layer of the tent. Generally, the outer tent is a waterproof cloth with coating. The thickness and texture of the coating determine the rain-proof performance of the tent. The texture of nylon cloth is shown in its strong, wear-resistant and tear-proof degree, and its appearance is also very important.
The most common tent coating is PU coating, PU is polyurethane polymer organic matter, PU coating is a stable low temperature resistant coating, commonly used in various fabrics. The thickness of PU coating and coating technology determine the waterproof property of fabric. The coating thickness of this kind of waterproof cloth is expressed by mm, which indicates the static waterproof column height of the coating under laboratory conditions.
In addition to waterproofing, these coatings also have the ability to breathe. They are called breathable fabrics. The principle of permeability is that the coating is porous, and the diameter of single hole is smaller than that of gas-water molecule and larger than that of liquid-water molecule. In this way, the rainwater from the outside can not pass through the coating, while the water vapor emitted by the human body can penetrate into the outside world. It should be noted that the air permeability of breathable fabrics is bidirectional, so in the case of higher external humidity, moisture will penetrate into the inside of the fabric to a certain extent.
The interior tent is much simpler. The interior tent of low-grade tent uses nylon cloth or ordinary yarn mesh. The interior tent of middle-grade tent uses compact and fine yarn mesh to ensure good air permeability and mosquito-proof function.
2. bracket
The bracket is the support framework of the tent. The commonly used materials are FRP and Al alloy. FRP and Al alloy are processed to grow from 25 cm to 45 cm, with holes in the middle of 7 mm to 12 mm in diameter. The multi-legs are connected with a set of elastic ropes, and the single legs are connected with the single legs by means of insertion.
FRP brackets are mostly used in middle and low-grade tents. FRP is a polymer of glass fiber and polymer resin. It is light in weight, strong in strength, good in formability, and has certain flexibility. It has become a common material for tent brackets. The performance of the tent rod depends on the quality and diameter of FRP itself. The larger the diameter, the higher the strength, of course, the greater the weight.
3. Packaging and accessories
Packaging bags, nails, tent ropes and other accessories also affect the use of tents. Some packages are strong, convenient, suitable in size and easy to use. Some tents are too small for users to pack after each use. Or they are not strong enough to be damaged after several use, which affects their mood. The number of nails should be enough, the strength of aluminium nails should be greater and the quality of nails should be lighter. Tent ropes are used to fix tents.
